Oslo Vacation Report - Helmer
Your city guide to Oslo, Norway!

This month we are taking you guys to Oslo, Norway right on the Southern Coast! A city and place that is very close to our hearts from our Norwegian roots. There is an array of amazing places to visit during your time here. Welcome to Oslo!

Two hotels we would hugely recommend for a deluxe stay…

The Grand Hotel – The Grand Hotel is well known for being a luxury landmark in Oslo, therefore is very popular. Its classic décor creates a luxury setting but there is also a very relaxing ambience. With five different rooms to choose from you can guarantee your stay here will be an amazing experience. Enjoy the restaurants signature dishes with an ‘element of surprise’ or have relaxing drinks at the bar in the lobby. In addition to this, the newly refurbished gym and spa offer facilities for you to work out or un-wind with an array of treatments to choose from.

The Thief Hotel – Being on the Conde Nast Traveler Gold List for 2016 the Thief hotel is definitely something special. It is a very hip, contemporary hotel within a trendy, upcoming neighbourhood. Think style and sophistication, which is contributed to by the modern architecture. Located between two canals and the iconic Astrup Fearnley Museum, you will have some magnificent views from your room. Choose between the restaurant and two bars to relax and un-wind. There is also a well equipped fitness center and spa.
